Starter Tools

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been posting anything lately, I'm back now! Okay so you've set your goals for your career, now what? Well the obvious answer is to start working on achieving those goals. But to achieve your goals you need the proper tools and that's what I'm going to write about today.
At the very least you will need these items to start off your acting career:
1. Good headshots and resumes- Once you get an agent they will tell you who to go to for these and what they want them to look like but for right now just find someone who does good quality headshots for a fairly cheap price and put together a professional looking resume with everything organized into different categories and lined up.

Goals

Setting achievable goals for yourself is a huge part of being successful. With the help of some of my close friends I learned a few tricks that made it easier for me to actually reach my goals. First you must choose one to three big goals that you want to achieve, if you have too many at one time it may become too hard to juggle all of them. Then you make charts where you start off with your goal and work backwards writing down each step you need to take to get to your goal and what you need to do, or who you need to talk to, to get past that step.

Teen Choice Awards

Waiting was a huge part of the teen choice awards, but it was all worth it when I got inside because now I have a million more people to interview. We started off the night with L.L. Cool J wishing his daughter, Nina, a happy tenth birthday. Katy Perry was a riot as she took on the role of host for the 2010 teen choice awards, along with the boys of Glee. Taylor Lautner took many awards, including best smile and the teen choice hottie award. The whole crowd was disappointed to see that Justin Beiber wasn't able to come, but we still enjoyed watching his performance over video from Philadelphia.
